In our new math unit, we will be learning to:
-make comparisons between objects (longer, taller)
-order lengths of objects (shortest to longest)
-measure common objects using non-standard units such as a paper clip, a pencil, or a sheet of paper
-practice the language of measurement using words such as longer/shorter, as tall as, more/less, far/near
-make and check estimates (Which one is longer? How many things will be needed to cover this?)
