![]() Some of the expectations for this unit are: -demonstrate that addition involves joining and that subtraction involves taking one group away from another -identify the effect of zero in addition and subtraction -pose and solve simple number problems orally -use concrete materials to help in solving simple number problems -describe their thinking as they solve problems This week we learned about taking a survey involving a yes/no response. The students learned how to frame a question to elicit one of those responses. We then asked our friends our question and recorded our data using tally marks. We reported our findings to the whole group. |
