Ali explains that he knows that the top is 5 and the bottom is 3 more.

Touleen says that this ten frame looks just like the ten frame picture on the "number 8 .on the wall" (see picture below)

Fuad explains that if you move the top right circle to the end of the bottom row you have 4 on the top and 4 on the bottom and four and four are eight.

Ayaan explains that if the frame was filled in, it would be ten and this has two missing, so it's eight.
