Homework in Grade One
Some of my students have begun asking "when am I going to get homework?". Homework assignments sent home are not considered appropriate at this age.
Soon, your child will be bringing home a Take Home book each night from Monday to Thursday. Beginning this Friday, your child will bring home a poetry folder to share with you over the weekend. Reading together and playing number and math games for 10-20 minutes in the evening can also help support your child's learning.
On this blog, I will keep you updated about our learning. Where possible, I have included links to youtube read-alouds of the books that we have read at school.
If you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to contact me at school or at my school board email: email@example.com

Please be aware that we do not allow nut products, shellfish or scented products at school due to life-threatening allergies.
