How to Prevent the Spread of Germs ...

10/13/2014

Part of the Language Curriculum includes concepts involving media literacy. In grade one, students should be able to "identify the purpose and intended audience of some simple media texts". In Health, we have been talking about germs and how to prevent the spread of colds and other illnesses. Students were asked to design a poster to put in a JK/SK classroom showing them how to be germ safe. We talked about how these friends cannot yet read, so the posters should only have a picture to get their message across.
See if you can identify the messages in our posters ...
